“Sometimes we have no idea how tired we really are until we take time to stop and rest. As Christian Ministers we are the kings of excuses when it comes to avoiding rest. My wife and I had the privilege of staying a few days at this perfect little cabin in the woods. It’s as cute as it is anointed. You can feel the presence of the Lord there, as this cabin has been used as a prayer house and getaway. Everything about this place was designed with intention to help you get away from everything and just rest!! One night we even awoke to the calming song of an owl in the woods. After sitting in the chair swing with my wife and watching the sunset I realized I was not ready to leave. My heart needed this rejuvenation and it was LONG overdue. At first I had to force myself to slow down, but when it came closer to the departure my heart was fearing leaving this place and jumping back into survival mode of the fast pace of our world. I cannot recommend this cabin getaway enough. The best hosts ever, Brad and Ginny will make sure you are well taken care of without being interrupted.”
